The Car Wash wins 79th Annual Georgia Communication Association

STATESBORO, Ga., Feb. 22, 2010 - JamesWorks Entertainment's The Car Wash, a new short film from award-winning documentary filmmaker James Kicklighter, starring Edith Ivey (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), took first place at the 79th annual Georgia Communication Association awards.
"This is the first big win for us, on the heels of a very successful screening at EGOFest" said The Car Wash director James Kicklighter. "We're excited to bring the film to the people of the Northeast United States at Garden State Film Festival next month."
About The Car Wash
An elderly woman (Edith Ivey, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) visits the local Car Wash and Lube to connect with the world closing in around her. The Car Wash stars Edith Ivey, John C. Arnold, Kelley Callaway, and Greg Purcell.
