Yorgos Lanthimos is a Greek filmmaker and theatre director. Often described as one of the preeminent filmmakers of his generation, he has received multiple accolades, including a BAFTA Award and a Golden Lion, as well as nominations for six Academy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
