Teaching
Filmmaking
Practical courses drawn from twelve years of production experience — shot listing, interviewing, story structure.

Craft before
theory
Every course starts with a practical problem — a shot list that needs to exist by Monday, a documentary pitch that needs to be in someone’s inbox by Friday. The goal is never to teach you how filmmaking is discussed. It’s to get you to a place where you can make the work.
The frameworks I teach are the ones I use on actual productions. Shot listing methodology that translates to a DP conversation. Documentary development practices that hold up in the room with a broadcaster. Nothing borrowed from a textbook — all of it tested in the field over twelve years and multiple distributed features.
If you’ve already started making work and want to move faster, these are for you.
