Advice to Film School Grads on Success Making a Living

Leaving film school, or college in general, can be difficult for aspiring filmmakers.
In this interview with Film Courage, I discuss how to make a living as a filmmaker. When I left school at Georgia Southern University, I had no idea how I would get from point A to point B; I just knew where I wanted to go.

There is no wrong or right way to do this; you talk to 100 people about how they “made it” in film, they’ll give you 100 different answers.
I personally feel that viewing things entrepreneurially will get you a long way in the film business; but I’d love to hear what you did or what you’re doing to reach your goal.
It’s always interesting to me hearing about the various pathways people take, because they are all very different and unique.
